I highly recommend Matt Osofsky and Veteran First Realty when purchasing a home. He helped my family and I throughout the entire process from showing us homes to welcoming us to our new home with keys and corning dad jokes. If I had a question, he would be ready with the answer or help me find it. He made the first-time home buying experience feel virtually stress-free, because there was no pressure and he was always on my side. Matt was always easy to contact, regardless of the time, and he handled communication with all the other parties seamlessly. I met Matt when his beautiful daughter was born. Didn't know he was a realtor. I fired one realtor after another and was ready to rent a place when Matt's wife, whom I'm working with, told me Matt was a realtor and was able to help me. I'm alone in the US and my family in Cape Town, South Africa finally decided to join me here. I'm also adopting 3 children and had to get a place of my own, big enough for all of us. Also, I've been helping my family financially and couldn't afford a big down payment. I was to the point where I was going to rent a house for $3 000.00 per month when Matt decided it was just as well I pay that amount towards a mortgage. He found me a lender who helped me even with my down payment. Matt was relentless in finding a house which would suit my taste and pocket. I was able to buy a big, beautiful house in a nice neighbourhood, all thanks to Matt. He took me house-hunting even when he was sick as a dog with flu and his nose bleeding! Working with Matt on the closing of our first home was a fantastic experience. From the very beginning, Matt proved to be very knowledgeable about the process we needed to follow in order to secure our offer on our dream home and ensure we closed on the property on time.
