Mariam was fantastic throughout my home-buying journey. As a first-time homebuyer, I needed a lot of reassurance and clear, easy-to-understand communication. From the very beginning, Mariam took the time to explain the entire process and present my different financing options. When I felt confused, she walked me through various comparisons based on my goal of minimizing out-of-pocket costs while keeping my monthly payments as low as possible. Mariam explained that I could request assistance for my down payment and closing costs, but she also made sure I understood the long-term financial impact this would have on my loan. She took the time to understand my savings situation and advised me that a 3% down payment, combined with requesting the seller to cover closing costs, would be the most beneficial route—saving me from taking on unnecessary assistance that would cost me more in the end. Her estimates for closing costs, the 3% down payment, and potential monthly payments were almost spot on, even with fluctuating interest rates. I entered this process expecting it to be overwhelming and difficult, but Mariam truly made it a pleasant experience. She’s passionate about her work, and I could tell she genuinely cared about my best interests, making me feel like I was working with a trusted friend rather than just another business transaction. Now, she’s not only someone I trusted with my home-buying process, but also a friend I plan to stay in contact with.
